Yorktown Police say they responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle near Cornwall Circle on Monday, Aug. 12 around 12:45 p.m.

An on-scene investigation revealed that a Yorktown man identified as Shaun Noone, 35, stole the victim’s vehicle by pushing her to the ground, according to police.

It was also discovered that Noone was previously involved in a burglary in the area, police say.

Noone was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree burglary, both Class C felonies. An order of protection was also issued for the victim.

Noone was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Aug. 15.
